Newark Museum: Selected Works
The Newark Museum of Art was founded in 1909 by John Cotton Dana in support of his revolutionary concept that "A good museum attracts, entertains, arouses curiosity, leads to questioning and thus promotes learning".
Published in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the museum, this book considers selected works of American Art, Arts in America, Art of Africa, Arts of Asia, Decorative Arts and Ancient Arts in the extensive and diverse collections of New Jersey's largest museum.
