A lovely winter scene of the Ballantine House.
Daniel Joseph Durkin's illustrations are created on scratch board. Each card is a high quality on card stock sourced from a family-owned mill in Michigan and all of the printing is done in his studio in Brooklyn, New York.
Built in 1884 to a design by George Edward Harney, the Ballantine House was the home of Jeannette and John Ballantine. It is designated a National Historic Landmark. In 1937, the House became a part of The Newark Museum of Art.
