About Beau McCall: It all began with a jar of clothing buttons. Fascinated with the buttons his mother kept stored for years in a jar, he began experimenting with the buttons and has since created a variety visual and wearable art using this everyday material. Born in Philadelphia, PA, McCall currently lives and works in Harlem, NY.
His work is held in permanent collections including the MAD (NYC), Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Victoria and Albert (London).
